I'm sad to say this, but I would NOT EVER want to stay at this facility much less leave a loved one here! Concerns have been shared with management and they say they will take care of the issue and never do. Regardless if you are Medicaid pay or Self-pay, residents deserve the best and they are NOT getting that!! This facility does not have enough clean linens to go around. When I visit and request a washcloth to try to remove the oral mouth thrush this person always has when we visit, I'm told that they don't believe they have any clean linens! (Out of the mouth of the staff!! ) I have witnessed where a resident is not getting offered something to drink because they are not like the others that go to the dinning room for their meals. They are laying in a wet bed way to long and sometimes are not even taken out of bed or dress for the day(s). They are always understaffed especially on the weekends. Saturdays and Sundays are still part of the week and therefore should be staffed appropriately the same as all the other days of the week! Staff members are over worked and have too many residents to have to care for which means that someone suffers!! Let that sink in if you are a SELF-PAY!! What could that cost be you might ask, well It depends on a number of things but how does $8,800 - $9,200+ a month sound? These facilities are only as good as your advocate! Pictures are priceless!
