Accordius Health and Rehabilitation Gatesville is the best. Since my stay here everybody has treated me so well their therapy team is awesome the CNA's and Nursing staff are great. I don't think my family and I could have picked a better place for me to go. Keep up the good work!!!!

The ownership has no respect for the Religious beliefs of others. On multiple occasions while Administrator for Accordius, I would be asked to call my staff at 11 AM on Sunday morning to get their wi-fi passwords and other info. When I tried to explain why this was not an ideal time for me to call my staff, I was told by Sasha and Natalie to call them anyway. They also frequently refused to pay local vendors.

As this facility is under new ownership, the community, as well as residents and families, should anticipate positive changes. With lots of renovation, new leadership and much retraining of staff, we are committed to providing high quality care and high quality living in a truly homelike, warm and comfortable environment. This facility has some great potential for growth but I would not recommend this facility at this time. This facility has transitioned into new ownership as of 10/2017 and t still needs to work through changes to become a 5 star facility. Staff are undereducated and undersupplied with the tools they need to provide superb care. Care is at the bare minimum, but I have faith that the new owners will work toward correcting this.

This facility is one of few that I've visited that has a home-like feel. Although some residents have high expectations as they struggle with transitioning from civilian life to one of long term care; the staff does a superb job with aspiring to meet their needs. Long term care is no where near what it was years ago. I commend the staff and families for working in conjunction with one another to ensure that the residents are taken care of.

I only rated a 1 because I had to, it's a -0! This is the nastiest place I've ever stepped foot in. Not only is it nasty -all the staff are rude and hateful. It breaks my heart every time I walk in the door. My husband's grandmother's there for now, but she wont be as soon as we find a bed for her elsewhere. If you love your loved one do not send them there. I'm telling you, it's nasty, nasty, nasty. And they don't care. When you say something about the beds, or the floor being dirty, or used depends on the bathroom floor, poop all over the bathroom, NO soap for them to wash their hands... Etc.. They act like it all happened 30 minutes before you got there. Or throw out any and every excuse possible. There's absolutely No excuse for that, that place needs to be shut down. Period.

Horrible facilty, unprofessional and poor leadership, understaffed and housekeeping is inadequate at the least. Would give 0 stars but that is not an option. I would not leave an enemy here.

This is most self centered attitude over professionalism facility in the USA.there are no cameras to watch workers actions and record their statements both is enforced by administrative staff except financial issues.But don't the board don't speak to the employees but the employees have zero reliability and from the veteran staff under the d.o.n. there's absolutely no respect extreme favoritism abd many employees are relatives or old family friends. All attempts at reporting mistreatment is net wit severe realisation from the staff there's absolutely no resident confidentiality what so ever show response time to patient needs. Care is based on the disposition of each individual staff member. Residents are treated and spoken to like children instead of paying adult clientele. Staff are available at their own discretion. It is more like high school except people's lives are at stake and sometimes lost due to the inability to curb these problematic disrespectful hurtful staff tendencies. unless a residents family the head administrator the director of nursing are literally standing watch over the actions of the staff it it's a completely random hostile unsafe environment with no safe haven or way of teaching out for help unless written on paper with multiple witnesses all negative interactions are allowed to slip through the cracks due to no monitoring of staff activity. This is not a place of healing or rehabilitation it is a place of negativity hurtful treatment and death.being sent here is more of a punishment than a blessing. Sadly those residents who have no other option are trapped here and suffer needlessly until their insurance can pay no more out their untimely demise. The facility houses both those with illnesses physical and mental mixed with those who have debilitating injuries or medical conditions, yet there is no in-house psychiatric staff what so ever or on call in house available doctor or specialists. The rehabilitation center is smaller than some of the bedrooms with less equipment.the filing system is outdated completely, and it is located near two swamps not the beach as advertised in the brochure. There is no hi speed internet access available to residents and all activities are in house abd Condit of bingo arts and crafts abd watching DVD movies since the cable is not the full package and the televisions are all randomly donated and not compatible. This place is so deceitful in the provided description in the info provided before admission it may as well be a mirage. It deserves less than one star you deserve a star fur even considering sending a love one here. This where you send the family member you hate but cannot charge criminally, and even then you should be ashamed fur doing so. The only positive that can be said of this facility is it will text you if you survive it to appreciate a possible person sentence instead. Between the constant screams for nurses, or cna's help the maniacal laughter of the staff alone is enough to cause one to think they did not survive what ever damnable calamity sent then to this awful compound. No doubt there will be instant retaliation for this truthful post, I hope lives are spared and saved rather than admitted to this place. Every patient housed here deserves a signed letter of apology from ask the employees during their internment as well as full reimbursement for the punishment they took. Let's not even get into the constant smell of fecal matter unwashed residents the flies mosquitoes earwigs frogs and assorted pestilence that live eat and procreate rent free or the massive amount of ignored phone calls and unreturned voicemail and inedible cuisine. The only positive review was written by the former director of nursing. To close, run away fast as you can our bee turned to dust like crushed gingerbreadmen.
