Hampton Manor

I went to visit my grandma and I buzzed the front door to be let inside. A nurse had an attitude and opened the door without saying a word to me; and walked off. There was no one at the front desk, so I just stood there along with residents crowded around me. A staff member finally saw me and showed me where to go. There were more nurses in the back, but it was very disorganized. I had to ask multiple times if I needed to sign a visitor's pass and they said no. I was very concerned and had a lot of questions. One of the nurses took the time to talk to me which was kind of her. Talked with my grandma and she had a bad cough for a couple weeks. We found out she had pneumonia yesterday. Instead of taking her to a hospital, they kept her there. She passed away this morning. It's also important to note that a family member had to change my grandmother's bedding prior to all this, so I'm not sure what they're getting paid to do.The worst part about all of this is the conflicting information we received of my grandmother's passing. They led us to believe she was taken to the hospital. On our way to the hospital shortly after, they said she'd passed; AND she was still at the center. I hope this review helps other families with loved ones who need extra care. My grandma was only there less than a month. I had high hopes for this place, but they really dropped the ball.
