My mother was here from Feb to end of March and she still has nightmares from this place. I should have transferred her as soon as I had a gut feeling to. When she first arrived someone was suppose to notify me but they did not. Then when I made it up there the head woman had me fill out papers and said that all her doctors would get together to conference call me to tell me the plan they have together the coming Monday. I set a time and made sure I was OFF OF WORK to take the call and write information down, NO ONE EVER CALLED. I didnt see or speak to any of her doctors but ONE the whole time she was there and when I met him he ignored her questions and acted like he didnt hear her. The RNs were FABULOUS and amazing and knew what they were doing. HOWEVER, a few of their CNAs specifically two of them were just there for a paycheck. We complained on one certain one more than once and nothing was ever done about her, we just got the ol we will investigate it Im sure they did not because her ways did not change. This particular CNA ALWAYS complained to my mother about having to change her (shes 52 but had a stroke that made half of her body partially paralyzed and she was there for physical therapy, she could not sit up or walk on her own). Whenever she or her roommate would press the button for help it would legit take them HOURS to come check, I witnessed this in multiple occasions, we complained to the social worker there but again, nothing was done about it. One time my mother had a BM in and she had to wait THREE hours before they came to change her, THREE hours. I get you may be low staffed but you NEED to do better. Another horrible experience was when my mother was NPO (nothing by mouth) and an aid gave my mother a breakfast plate, she told the lady that she was NPO and couldnt have it. The lady didnt listen and left the plate there, after 10-15 minutes my mother calls me and tells me guess what she is eating, I said what, youre not suppose to be eating youre NPO. I Immediately called the facility, told them the situation, they put me on hold to get a nurse, I was on hold for 10 minutes then someone picks up and says what are you holding for RUDE as her, so I explain that an aid gave my mother food and shes NPO they dont put me on hold but tell LOUDLY at someone asking where someone is then yells at the aid that gave her the food while Im on the other line. ANOTHER incident was her clothes were basically missing the whole time she was there the facility would wash them but we never saw them after they washed them, when she was leaving and cleaning her things out we finally found them in the bottom drawer that we NEVER used DIRTY! I choose this place because of the reviews but I feel like they may all be FAKE. I also tried to get her transferred to a facility closer to me (we were 2 hours away) but they dragged theyre feet and just released her 3 weeks after the request.

This facility is wonderful and fun times here. The staff is good. Everyone treats me with dignity and respect. The rehab department is working with me well and getting me stronger to go home. I would highly recommend anyone to this facility.
