My mom lived at Lawndale the last 16 months of her life. She enjoyed her time there with all the inspiration, activities and entertainment they have. Joel Anne and Marianna are the activity directors and are both very loving toward the residents. Joel Anne works around the clock and goes above and beyond to keep them entertained. Mia and her daughter Shae, Keisha, Tonya, Nita, and all the caregivers are extremely patient and caring. Momma loved them all and she made some very dear friends there. When your loved one loses his or her ability to remain independent, this is the best place they can be and still have as much independence as they are capable of. I appreciate all the love and care they gave my mom and I'll be going by from time to time to say 'hi' and to show my gratitude. This is where I'll want to be if I need help.

First of all, EXTREMELY unprofessional. I was waiting to meet a nurse at another establishment to come out and do an assessment on my mom. She never called even though the time frame given was between 9 and 11. I finally called her at 12:15 and I was told that she couldn't make it today, that she was going into a meeting and that she would notbe coming out to assess my mother at all now. When I questioned her unprofessionalism, she stated that we couldn't force them to take her. I don't care about that. I don't want my mother to go there now anyway. I asked to speak to the executive director and she them told me that her boss already knows about it. I said I still wanted to speak with her and I was then hung up on. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE
