Universal Healthcare of Fuquay-Varina

After 3 months here, my father went from hospice to being up and moving around. Amazing improvement. The Admissions Director Bianca cares on a personal level about everything that goes on here. Michelle at the front desk is a pleasure. The nurses, assistants, front desk folks...everyone has been great.

I was referred to this facility for rehabilitation of complication from D.V.T. blood clots. I will probably have to sign myself out A.M.A. with nowhere else to go. The facility simply does not function. The staff is rude and seems to resent having to work here at all. Call bells are ignored. Patients are not checked on or looked in on. Staff is terse in it's attitude at best. Nothing but excuses and no apology for neglect. I was hoping the reviews were enough to effect change and that conditions would be different than stated in the reviews. Avoid this facility. It is frightening and in my opinion dangerous. I predict legal action against this facility in they're future.I am checking out today with the help of administrator Joy. She has been most helpful and kind. She has been apologetic and listened to complaints with understanding and hopefully motivation to effect change. However I still would be frightened for anyone having to stay at this facility until extreme changes have been made. I was sent here for rehab, yet the thought of having an aged love one sent here as a resident is sad. I can only imagine the neglect and cruelty the residents must endure. Please consider very carefully before choosing this facility. It could end tragically I fear.

This is not the first rehab facility that I have had to place my father in. But it is by far the best facility. The staff is friendly and helpful , And goes above and beyond! I would like to thank everyone who helped my father and me.

The staff is terrible. Different patients have different needs and the staff is not willing to adjust to the needs of the patients. I would not recommend this facility to anyone that loves their family member.

Horrible place where they forget the elderly.
