Steele Creek is the second Assisted Living home in which my wife has resided. Our experience here has been wonderful over the last 3 months. Both my wife and myself have been welcomed by the staff and treated like family. I have many compliments about the cleanliness and staff; but the one thing that stands out to me and my family is that my wife is smiling more than she has since she got sick three years ago. Thank you to the staff and managers of Steele Creek!

My mom was a resident at The Crossings for nine months. The nurses and aids were caring. Unfortunately, they dont have enough activities to stimulate the residents. Most of them sit and watch tv. My mom frequently was wearing other residents clothing. I spoke with the administrator to no avail. The clothes were too big and she never looked cared for. Good clothes were stolen from her and we were never able to find them. On five occasions she fell due to poor balance and had to be transported to the hospital. One night when I returned with her from the hospital I observed three aids trying to help me settle her down and get ready for bed. She wears depends and needed to be cleaned before going to bed. I had to ask them for a wash cloth to clean her. One of the aids was able to locate one and handed it to one of the other aids. She clearly said for me to hear how did I get this job? She was unprofessional at best. I finally was able to find a place for my mom where she is kept clean, and has activities to keep her more active. I wouldnt recommend the Crossings to anyone. Its dark, and dirty and offers very little for dementia patients to stimulate them. My only regret is leaving my mom in that place for so long.

I have been very blessed to be a part of this team here! I have worked in this industry for over 10 years and I have not found a team like the one here at The Crossings. They truly show compassion and love for the residents. The residents are happy and are very well cared for! We had a deficiency free survey and when you see the place and meet the staff, you can see why!
