Wonderful place! Mom has been here for over a year now and continually tells me how happy she is. The community is beautiful and accommodating. The management and staff is what makes this community a safe and enjoyable lifestyle for all! Ill quote my Mom, How could you ask for anything more?

My mother lived at Providence Meadows for almost a year, and while the promise of retirement living at PM sounded great, it was not delivered. Examples of problems include meals taking 2 hours, not being allowed to sit with the people she wanted to at meals, exterior doors that weren't locked (even at night), a very unreliable transportation system, a staff that was too small for the number of residents, managers who were very controlling and failed to delegate duties to others (which meant that many tasks didn't get done), and managers who refused to listen to the needs and requests of the residents. By the time my mother moved to another facility she was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with Providence Meadows, started eating her meals in her room, hiring taxi's to transport her to doctor visits, etc. Providence Meadows failed to provide her with the lifestyle they promised. (Follow-up: my mother is extremely happy and satisfied where she is now living, and for roughly the same price. She joins many and varied activities, participates in card games on a regular basis, enjoys restaurant-style meals while sitting with her friends, and goes out to appointments and shopping using their transportation system. I never saw her this happy when she lived at Providence Meadows.)
