Smith Family Care Home

My son has been a resident of the Smith Family Care Home for just about a year now. He has intellectual disabilities and is currently in his late 30's. He has received an enormous amount of assistance with learning his daily living skills, decision making skills, medication compliance and coping skills along with improving his personal hygiene and overall health. This home is beautiful, extremely clean, organized and very well run. His goals are clearly explained to him at the time the goal is implemented and he is reminded of the goals as needed when a teaching opportunity presents itself. The provider keeps me well informed of any issues and is a pleasure to work with. The provider is very detail oriented and takes time to explain the details that are often times missed when communicating with the individuals and their families. Any medical concerns are quickly attended to as well. They go above and beyond the call of duty every day but in particular I recall last year during the hurricane. I still can't believe the care and planning that was taken to ensure all the residents were safe and happy. I am eternally grateful for that. I feel very fortunate that my son is in such capable hands. Thank you so much for all you do!

Visiting Smith Family Care Home, I could see the love & care that the patients receive. I would definitely recommend.
