My dad has lived at The Bristal for the past 4 years. The staff has been wonderful and caring... the dining staff, wellness staff, aides, front desk and all the way up to the CEO! Whenever there was an issue with my dad they were ready and willing to help resolve it, with great care and compassion. These past few months during the pandemic, they put their own lives on the line to show up to work and care for the residents. And they did an outstanding job keeping them safe and healthy. They are truly the heroes!! My dad not only made friends with the residents, but he has grown quite fond of the members of the staff as well. Their kindness and compassion provide him with a safe place to call home When you walk into the Bristal it looks like you have entered a hotel. Beautifully decorated and kept immaculate , it provides a cheery atmosphere for all who live there . I thank all of you at The Bristal, from the bottom of my heart, for taking such wonderful care of my dad. It takes a village.... and my dad is lucky to live in your village!!

As I live at a distance from New York, it is really important for my peace of mind to know that my elderly parents are well cared for, especially in these uncertain times. Still holding his own at age 97, my dad has enjoyed independent living at Bristal White Plains for nearly five years, and my mother was well looked after in the Reflections memory care unit during her final days. The team at WP are caring, responsive and supportive, and do everything they can to respect and cater for residents' individual needs.

AMAZINGLY TERRIFIC!!! I looked at numerous places when it was time for my elderly Mom to leave Brooklyn. She is active and social and we wanted a place where she could enjoy life despite the limitations of old age....The Bristal is a wonderful place!!! The facility is beautiful and well planned in every way---clean, upscale, music playing softly, fresh air.....the activities are numerous and varied- every morning there is exercise or a trip; in the afternoons there are games and activities and more excursions....the food is terrific- fresh and healthy and multiple choices (Mom is a picky eater and she raves!), Her studio apartment is lovely and clean and spacious....Most important are the people -We saw too many places where the residents are sitting around in wheelchairs looking so sad- not at The Bristal! They are coming and going and doing!! They are happy and friendly and still enjoying. And the last thing is the staff- They are wonderful!! They know and greet and help each resident...I watched one morning as they went around and encouraged people to join activities; I listened as they stop and chat with residents with genuine kindness. It was NOT an easy thing to get Mom to leave her longtime home in Brooklyn- The Bristal is truly a godsend. (I honestly don't understand why the other reviewer here would say anything negative- and if it's a real person then you may contact me because you have no clue.) If you are looking for a place for a senior that shouldn't live alone but wants to continue to LIVE..then The Bristal is an amazing place and a must-see!!!!

I wish I could rate them but I called to get information, they took my phone # and never called me back. Can I trust them with a family member?
