our mom has been in wellspring village at brightview for over two years. In that time she has been well taken care of. She has not been to the hospital once and that was not the case at the previous assisted living facility she stayed at. We are very happy with her care at BV!

Brightview Tarrytown is a wonderful facility. It is beautifully maintained and has a warm, welcoming and helpful staff. I am very grateful for all they do for my mother. I can sleep nights knowing she is very well taken care of.

I would give zero stars if possible. It is a pretty facility. The memory care section was poor at best and wish I had reported them after Mom passed as I see they want to build another facility nearby. I was there almost every day. The care plan was hardly followed - I had requested that I be informed of any doctor appointments as I was still taking her out to doctors we had been using for years. Brightview had seen by a psychiatrist and given medication without my knowledge until I received the bill from Medicare. No one on the care staff ever mentioned she was agitated. Her bottom was raw red for the months she was there. One Sunday we arrived and were told she was at mass - we didnt believe she went to mass and went into her room. We found her shivering in a soaking wet bed, with the windows open and the room 60 degrees. We met with the Facility Director to no avail each and every time these incidents happened. Weekends were always understaffed in memory care - one caregiver trying to feed multiple people who could not feed themselves. Mom was there only a short time and we were looking to move her when she stopped eating and went on hospice. Even then when she wasnt to receive medicine, the med tech shoved medicine into her mouth because the computer said so. The computer had not been updated. Never again.
