The Village at Mill Landing

My Mom is at the Village at Mill Landing in memory care. I thank God every day that she is in their care. Everyone there is unbelievable!! They keep my family up to date on everything, they are so patient and kind with my Mom and all of the residents there. It's SO hard not seeing Mom during this Covid epidemic but we know she is loved and taken care of. I can't say enough, they are simply the BEST

Why I live at The Village at Mill Landing... The Village at Mill Landing is where I choose to live because it offers the lifestyle that I desire. Who am I? a 74 year old man who lost his wife of many years and didn't want to live alone in a big house that needed care. With my two great children, we set out to look for an apartment that would meet my needs. This included space, medical care, and maintenance free living, transportation options, full service dining, weekly housekeeping and more. However, what we found was much more than your normal apartment, we found SPECIAL PEOPLE. People who really care about the residents. For example, Terry Kipp, Health and Wellness Manager... Have a question? Terry is the person to help you. She provides her full attention to your issue and offers a solution that meets your needs. Her solution may not be what you had in mind but you'll quickly find, is was the best answer. Skip, the Hometown Cafe Barista... from baking cookies to the best coffee in the house, he provides great service and advice. Additionally, he is able to help nursing if they are short handed. He is the man. Margaret Melia, Office Manager... have an invoice that has been returned by a vendor? Margaret will find the best way to correct the document and take the action that is needed. Margaret is always offering additional help. Truly, one of a kind. Always look past the surface, people always make the difference. And that's why I live at The Village at Mill Landing.

My mom, with time, realized she is in a safe, friendly, and actively involved facility. The staff has gone out of their way to make my mom comfortable and to treat us like family.

I moved to The Village at Mill Landing last year to give my family peace of mind. Lynette, my caregiver is one in a million! She would do anything to make things easier for me. Caitlyn is a bright spot to my mornings and always has a smile when she comes in to help me. I also think that the kitchen staff is doing a great job during our current crisis.

I lived in my own home for 66 years. Thinking of leaving it was not an easy decision but a necessary one. The Village at Mill Landing has been the 'right place' for me. Both the staff and residents have made me feel 'at home' in every way. My apartment, the many friends I have made, the activities offered, and the entertainment have made my new life a content and happy one. Sincerely, Marian
