Great place to work!!

Bringing my grandmother at this facility was the worst decision my family had ever made. She will sit with her nurse call button on for will over an hour and no one will come to help her. We visit her everyday, and even try for twice a day with rotating family members, and when we are there, we have to search for a nurse to come and help her. Two days ago visiting her, she was left in her lift that helps her get up, her breakfast far from her reach and not cut up (which it needs to be for her to eat), nursing call button on because she needed to use the bathroom, and no one around. We filed a complaint and they promised the staff would be re-educated in my grandmothers care and changes would be made. Then yesterday visiting her, she was still in her pajamas at 4pm, left alone just sitting in a bedpan (she is not to be left alone when using the bedpan), and then no one ever brought her dinner. One nurse even man handles her, and her wrists are now cut up and bruised. We want to move her, but the doctors say that she is not in strong enough health to do so (she is 93). I recommend that you do not bring your loved ones here. Especially if you are not able to check on them daily. This place has been nothing, but a nightmare.

My review is based off of what I have seen as an EMT responding to the friendly home and to linden knolls apt. Accidents and ailling health affect our elderly population regardless of the best interventions and the staff do always do GREAT job and are ATTENTIVE to the needs and emergencies that arise. Patients / residents always seemed well cared for and they like it lovong or going to rehab here. The facilities are well maintained and are always clean. I would entrust my loved ones at either location.
