Within the last 2 years I have come to a position at this lovely, Eclectic Home. We continue to grow and put the resident's and Saff needs first. A wonderful Rehab both in,house and now offering Out Patient Physical Therapy too. I would reccomend my family come here for Rehab, or long term Care. I am Proud to enjoy my passion of Geriatrics here.

I am sorry to say these things, but this place has gone right downhill. I was shocked at what the aides and other employees are allowed to get away with in regard to patient relations. There is much rudeness and, what can I say, bordering on abuse of the residents by them. Say or do anything that is taken by one aide to be off or if one takes a dislike to you, you are finished.I chose to go here again for rehab after I broke my leg. I am sorry I did. Riverview is in my home, lifelong place of residence, Tioga County, New York, and is one of few nursing rehab facilities available here. This place, just like the County, is no longer a wonderful place to be, as far as a nursing home can be. I have probably said too much. I just wouldn't go back again by choice. Good luck if you do.

I had a family member here, and felt like the care was good. It is small and quaint, so the caregivers and patients seem to become quite familiar with one another. The gardens are lovely. Staff is cheerful and residents seem content. That said, I always would encourage that patients in ANY healthcare facility have an advocate that checks in on them regularly. It's just good practice.

This place should be shut down. We had a horrible experience here. The aides were wonderful....just not enough of them. A lot of political B.S. going on. The administrator seems like a nice enough guy, but I think he's clueless as to the politics. This place is for profit. You'd think they could hire more staff or serve something besides mashed potatoes at EVERY meal.
