Chestnut Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Chestnut Park did a excellent job getting me back home through their services offered.

Chestnut Park Rehab and Nursing Center is a excellent long term/sub-acute rehab center. As a former employee and returning employee after 4 years who also had my mother there here for rehab and the excellent care she received. The new management now is outstanding to say the least...I have viewed some of the reviews about this facility. The misleading statements leaves me with a heavy heart as they are just simply 'Not True'. I personally never listen to derogatory remarks about any facility....and find out for myself. I can honestly with no doubt express to anyone what a wonderful and caring staff we have here and the wonderful care we all strive in this facility to give. We are the true meaning of Team Work. We are all a team here from our wonderful housekeepers, maintenance team, Dietary, CNA's, Resident Aides PT, SLP...we are all part of the wheel that creates not just a team....but a loving and caring family atmosphere. I am so proud to be a part again...of this wonderful facility.

Chestnut Park Service was outstanding.

Highly recommended Rehab services. Staff are helpful, nice, and polite. Activities through out the day were a plus. Facility helped set-up at home services to ensure a safe transition at discharge.

This has to be the worst nursing home in upstate NY. They are way understaffed and the employees are over worked. The residents needs are seldomly met. The food served to the residents is terrible. Its not hard or expensive to serve freshly prepared meals! There is no way the manager cares about the welfare of the residents. Changes need to be made! Ill be telling everyone I know not to trust you with their loved ones until we see some changes!!
