I was a patient down there in 2017 for 4 1/2 months. The staff there is wonderful!! The new management has done a lot of major repairs to the place in the last few years. I made a lot of lasting friendships there.

There is a permeating odor throughout. Tray table with inside softer content exposed should not be used. Common areas like where books are, dirty. Patient calling 'Help' with no one nearby. Newfane is somewhat isolated but these conditions should not be accepted.

Just saw on the news about the sex offender. This place needs better management. 3 school within a 5 min walk. Elderly that cant tell you if something happened to them. They are not protecting there patient. Remember the coma woman that gave birth?!?! It literally takes something horrible like that to open people's eyes. How about we get ahead of it before that happens. Close this facility. I have numerous friends that have worked there and basically the news is sugar coating. The situation is much more worse then people realize! Get your loved ones moved! Protect your family! This place wont. It doesnt work with their bottom line.

This place has gotten WORSTover the years . It is so DIRTY ALL THE TIME ! MY FAMILY MEMBER WAS PUT IN THERE 4 YRS AGO AND IT IS GETTING WORST NOT BETTER AS FAR AS I SEE IT SOMETHING NEEDS TO GET DONE . ALWAYS UNDER STAFFED . I DONT THINK THE RESIDENTS NEED TO SUFFER WHEN THE PAY TO BE THERE !!!
