I am saddened by the above review which is truly inappropriate. Our Mom has been at The Terrace for 3 years after being diagnosed with Alzheimers.  This disease takes a toll on the person as well as the family. The Staff and Administrators worked with us in the most difficult times. They even advocated for Mom when necessary. Mom receives excellent care. She refers to the Terrace as her home where she is safe and happy with all her friends. The Terrace has many activities that are geared to the various residents. It is bright, beautiful and well maintained.I have much appreciation and gratitude for the Staff and Administrators for all they do for their residents.  They treat them and family members with the utmost respect, care and concern.  They are loving and trustworthy. They are our extended Family.A.Barber

I worked there , worst place EVER!!! they leave residents in there own feceses bc they don't want to take care of them, they allowed a resident to pick lint out his pocket and eat it and when I told my boss about it she said it was no big deal bc as she put it... He's got dementia it's normal. The place is beautiful but the staff is horrible... There are some staff tho who do care but others who are there for the pay check and it's sad. Don't let these people claim they care bc they really don't trust me...

My mom moved into the Terrace approximately three weeks ago. Throughout the entire transition the staff were very helpful and professional. As this can be a stressful and difficult time mom and I were both grateful for the concern and caring nature of the help and direction we were given. Unfortunatly a problem arised with another resident the first couple of days. However ...once my concern was received ....Administration delt with it immediatly and professionally resulting in the problem being solved. The meals are excellent. Activities are planned and vary weekly. Although my mom was hesitant to make the move she likes being there and enjoys showing family and friends around. She lived alone for many years after my dad passed. Eventually she became unable to do all the work necessary to keep up her home...she wasn't eating well and she became unable to drive ...I could see a decline in her zest for life. Even though I took her out a couple times a week and family stopped in to visit...she needed to be around more people. Since she has been at the Terrace she has made new friends and gained physical strength. She seems interested in life in general again. She's happier and that makes me happier!. Thank you to Administration ...including the owners who are on site often and obviously want the best for the residrnts...and the direct care staff for their excellent care and their upbeat and friendly attitudes!Patti Smith -DiCicco
