I am an 89 years old artist and retired University Professor. Normally artists because of their personalities and space needs would not consider living in a Retirement Community. I was reluctant but it has been one of my best choices. It has given myself and my wife a new life, one we never would have had: new friends and much more. Simply the best skilled nursing facility -My mother was a resident at Woodland Pond. It is excellent on every level: the care for residents, the food, the staff, the cleanliness and generally the atmosphere that allows staff at *every* level of the organization to be both kind and competent. The level of care-- medical and human-- that my mother received was truly inspiring. Kudos to everyone who works at Woodland Pond. It is a special place.
