Of all the nursing homes I have been to, this one ranks above the others. I'm sorry for the ones who rate it low. They haven't been to too many others, apparently. Nursing homes do not replace the individual care you get at home, that is a fact, but this one does a far better job than most.

It is okay. I used to work here and there were some care providers that were questionable, but the ones I worked with really loved to care for residents and really took the time to spend time with them. Sometimes it's just about WHO is working on what floor. I think they need to better monitor the way some people work.

One of my great grandmothers and one of my grandfathers lived here for a little while. I did not like it here. I cannot speak to their level of care, but the atmosphere of the building was dark, dank and depressing. It needed lots of updates. It seemed..bare minimum. Sparse. Cheap. I have seen many other nursing homes in my lifetime, and unless this has improved in the last 11 years--which I truly hope it has--I would not recommend it.
