The Longview organization and community has served my parents extremely well for over 6 years. Multiple levels of care have allowed my parents to stay together and partake of the great programming and association with Ithaca College. A fantastic place to age in place!

I rented and furnished an independent living residence there. As it turned out I did not sleep there a single night or have a single meal there. It cost me thousands of dollars and I complained to the NYS Attorney Generals office. Got me nowhere. The place is under direction and operated by the Geriatric Dept. of the college across the street. They use it as guinea pigs for their program. As a result the operations, instead of a professional property management business, it is administered by a bunch of bubble gummers. It didnt take me long to discover that they made up their own rules as they went along, did not honor their previous commitments or even established rules in their literature. No one is held accountable. CEO did nothing. No agency you can turn to.Soul killing as far as I am concerned. Unless you are good at denying outrage, avoid this place.
