I am aware how difficult it is to find an affordable facility for your loved one. Not only is it a financial issue but the emotional effect on we as care givers is heart wrenching. No one wants to put their loved one in a caring facility. With that said, beware of this facility. If you want a tour before you make this difficult decision, insist on visiting the second and third floor. If they only allow you on the first floor (which is beautiful by the way), stay away. I'd also suggest not scheduling this tour. Ask to see these floors at your first visit. Please do not let these people deceive you when they say they are new owners and are making improvements. Yes, they did purchase this facility over a year ago but not much has changed. Believe the review below. Although funny, it's the God's honest truth.

Barnwell Corp is not the Ritz Carlton of nursing homes. If I had to compare it to something I'd say a Red Roof Inn in the hood. The food would make Rambo sick and the help must be disgruntled fired DMV workers. Barnwell is run by bean counters who don't care about anything other then the bottom line. I swear Ray Charles must be the exterminator and Stevie Wonder is in charge of cleaning the place.
