Atria is a great place to be!

I can not recommend the Atria Huntington enough. When my mom went there she could barely walk, had severe headaches because she took her meds wrong and was overall in pretty bad shape as she lived on her own for a few years (as much as I fought her on it). I think her generation has pre-determined impression of assisted living. Granted, back in the day, it was pretty depressing, so it was hard to convince her different. I figured, at least she will be under professional care. Well...wow..it was nothing but an ongoing improvement since she has been there. Her health has improved ten fold! She now walks laps in the parking lot. She dresses up again and even her medication has been reduced due to her improved health. The events they have throughout the day are non-stop, led by genuinely caring people. These are people with giving souls, you cant fake that. This is a place to live. Its far from some depressing old age home. When I walk in at any given time I can see the friendships and laughs. As much as my mom repeats herself these days, I never get tired of hearing her say I love it here, its really good people. I owe the Atria Huntington many thanks. I hope its around when I get older!

Wonderful place and wonderful people. I visited with a friend one day. The comfort and hospitality was over the top. Great staff and great people. I would like to work there one day. The place make you feel like home. I will refer this place for every one who have a love one and would like to be taking care with excellence .
