This place acts like when you come in you are there wasting their time. No bed side manner what so ever. Rude to patience and family. Unless you think you are really going to die drive 30 mins to either Watertown or Potsdam.

Every. Single. Encounter. That I have had with this hospital from detox to outpatient care has been PHENOMENAL!!! Never imagined myself needing detox and especially seeking it at Gouverneur Hospital. Well, I ended up in both. I have felt safe and cared for/about in every situation. Standouts are Amanda Hance and her nurse (Im sorry I cant remember her name), Momadoo the traveling nurse in detox, Dr. Zewe, Linda in Amandas office and Kelly in outpatient substance abuse clinic. Thank you ALL for everything youve done to help me out of one of the darkest times of my life!!!

My family member was treated at Gouverneur s Hospital in NY. The staff was great.Thank you to nurse Zach for going above and beyond the call of duty, making sure my nephew had a safe discharge.Thanks to Ms Nancy ,Mr Moore and the PA. My family members and I are grateful.
