A family member of mine recently had to be removed from this facility and hospitalized because of neglect and abuse. the family member did not have Covid-19, but was locked in their room for weeks with the bare minimum. Unable to leave the bed unattended, their person was often left cold and shaking in a soiled and wet bed without blankets. A private nurses aid had to be hired so the person would be able to have their basic human needs met. The family has photos and videos of the conditions. I would put less than one star if I could. Covid-19 or not, is still no reason to ignore a person and leave them without food and water in reach. I hope the facility will be held accountable.

My mom lived here for several years and had great, caring assistance from the staff. Debbie Corbin, Director of Community Relations is wonderful to work with. Highly recommend The Promenade.

GROSSLY NEGLECTFUL during Covid19. Patients had 2 weeks worth of rotting food on at entrance to rooms , along with their medications .... patients were left alone ,locked in their rooms , many bed bound , Horrible experience!

I visited Promenade at Chestnut Ridge because as my mother continues to age, we are feeling that she may need to change her living situation. I was struck by the community feeling and overall sense of peace and kindness that exists in this place. They've stayed in touch we me regularly to offer support in any way they can as I navigate this difficult time. When the time comes, I would feel very confident in having my mother taken care of by them.
