This facility should be shut down ! They make appointments to update you on your family members well being and dont keep the appointment arranged by them. The social worker is unprofessional and does not have a clue what's going on with the patients . And the nurses follow her knowledge as to knowing nothing. The first couple of days in the facility and I was being asked to provide them with my Fathers life insurance policy and they had him doped up. For a short term stay. I would not recommend the Genisus facilities if you love your family members . The only reason I gave a star is so I could warn everyone .

Please do not send your family member to this place unless you are in close distance to assure they care and safety. The staff will not return calls, and the care is unheard of. My sister did not survive 6 months in under their care, They could not even put eye drops in her eyes for an infection without me raising the roof. Horrible care, Horrible administration

I recently spent 2 weeks at Belen meadows. My experience was very positive. 95% of the staff went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The other 5% tried there hardest. The physical and occupational therapists would see me everyday. Often asking me what I'd like to work on. The only complaint would be the meals became repetitive. That being said, they were more than happy to bring a substitute meal. I would recommend this facility for any type of rehab or wound care.

I want to give a shout out to all the staff at Belen Meadows Rehabilitation (PT, OT, Nursing, CNAs, Dietary, Cleaning Staff, Recreation, and Administration) for the wonderful work you do!! The physical therapists worked my husband hard not only on walking but on core strength, endurance, and balance. The occupational therapist worked on helping my husband come out of a mental funk (after being put under for four surgeries in a short period of time), the nurses, CNAs, were all very kind not only to my husband and me but to all the other patients I saw there. Even the cleaning crews were happy and kind. I cant say enough good things about Genesis Belen Meadows!!!
