Buena Vista Senior Care

This facility provided wonderful care to my Poppa during his 5 month stay there. Our family was extremely apprehensive going in because his previous facility was a difficult situation. The ratio of 8 residents to 2 nursing aides put us at great ease and his care was nothing less than exceptional. He was more of a total care patient, not assisted, but they worked with him with compassion and encouragement. They took care of him whole-heartedly and one particular nurse's aide, Michelle, paid extra attention to him. I am forever grateful for the team and the owner., David, has a true love and takes pride in his work.

In 2014 my father was moved from a corporate assisted living facility to Buena Vista Senior Care. He lived there until January of 2018, and if he had needed a safe place to receive the best of care, he could not have ended up in a better spot than BVSC. However it IS a home, not just a place, where the staff and caretakers are wonderful and attentive and professional and loving.With the roomy dining table, its sweet to see the residents enjoying not just a delicious and healthy home-cooked meal, but enjoying each others company as well. From the comfortable living room for watching TV or catching up with loved ones, to the back patio with the small pond and bird-feeders where folks can visit and get some fresh air, to the private rooms of each resident where their families can fill the walls and shelves with memories all of this makes for a wonderful home away from home.I wish anyone who has the need to place a loved one is someone elses care had a place like Buena Vista Senior Care.I have eternal gratitude to David and to Michelle and to so many others who are (or were) a part of this.

My mother has advanced dementia, and has been a resident at Buena Vista for over two years. Since leaving her previous facility, she has become far more interactive, and happy. Having experienced the previous facility, I can see a clear difference in the quality of care, and safety the facility provides. David and his staff clearly care for the residents, and always go the extra mile for their well being, comfort, and happiness. I sleep well at night having my mother in their care. Without reservation, I recommend this facility to anyone needing this type of care.
