The staff is ignorant. The residents are disrespectful. They won't even tell me what room my mother got moved to. As my mother's visitor/relative I am very angry & disrespected. I was even told I will not be getting an apology from one of the residents who called me 'white trash', even after I asked for an apology. I thought Assisted Living was going to be better than a nursing home Turns out I was wrong.

My father lived here for a few years and it was not a good experience other than a few of the staff. Its dirty with sticky floors and smells horrible. The food looks bad, smells worst and according to my dad taste awful. He was not taking care of as good as he should have been. I do not recommend unless you plan on checking on your family member daily. Awful experience

My friend lives here and they have lost his comforter at least 4 times--I have told them NOT to remove it from his room as I will wash it--his name and room number are clearly written on it and it disappears for months at a time--to be put in communal laundry. They have no regard or respect for residents' rights and when I complained when his property hasn't been returned the director told me not to 'badger' him. How professional is that? His room is generally dirty and the nursing staff seems to think they are allowed to limit his cigarettes. I only have them hold them for security reasons. This is also a violation of rights---they don't get it. They have no respect for the people that live there.

This place is awesome. Doesnt display all the bells and whistles but the care is excellent. Its a very clean environment. Whenever I enter they are cleaning . They keep it pristine. The care is excellent. Plenty of nurses and aids. They have a very large staff. When I visit my mother she is always smiling and seems very happy. Thank you Ivystone. I feel very comfortable having my Mother under your care.
