Not happy at all with fox trail living facility. Save your time, money, and your loved one heartache. Go elsewhere. I don't need to say anymore.

I happened to have been visiting my parent the day the air conditioner went down in one of the residents rooms. There was a window unit brought into the facility for the room ASAP.

I got hired on the spot. I have over 20 years healthcare experience. I managed a group home for 15years. My 1st day on job I was paired up with a sweet young girl who was approx 2weeks new to train me to facility. She herself wasn't sure of a lot of things as she was never properly trained either. They just throw you in and expect you to do a job. I know what and how to take of people that was never a concern. My concern I didn't know none of these residents and who was self care, diabetic, hypertension etc...so how am I to give care correctly and have no idea. Than we are in a heat wave and few residents have no air in rooms. I said something to nurse on floor who reached out to director Sharon who stated air be fixed next day. Than after cleaning my hands few times with sanitizer I needed to wash them. There was no soap in either staff bathroom (which were DIRTY) and I addressed that also. Some of these clients rooms smelled of urine, some had food all over in rooms, the kitchen floor was dirty and the way these residents were being cared for was sad!!! So, Sharon reached out to me next day and apologized for no soap in bathrooms. I than went on to politely tell her about other sanitary concerns of the facility building 1. She than cut me off and stated sorry it didn't work out for you and hung up on me. How professional!! I was just bringing concerns to her as I know state guidelines and regulations I ran a group home. I WAS not in no way complaining. The staff that work there say that's the way place is ran, always short staff or no staff but a nurse on shift. No supplies to clean, high staff turn over. It was a mess, but I stayed on shift and did what I needed to for the residence as they deserve good care and that's why I stayed and planned on staying but Sharon didn't like that I politely addressed things that needed fixing or looking into and just terminated me...So, sad that these people don't care enough about patients and talk about the staff and turnover but I seen 1st hand the turnover is due to not 'adequate working staff' it's due to facility atmosphere. Than for dinner the residents had a boiled hot dog on a roll, scoop of broccoli with cheese on top and scoop of macaroni salad. How nutrionist is that? So, sad I don't know how the families of these residents are ok with this.

Mostly FAKE reviews above to bump up the ratings, including one from 'Fox Trail Senior Living a year ago!. They didnt hide their tracks very well. I am betting most of the other reviews are probably also from Fox Trail( or maybe family members or friends?) Since half of the 5 star reviews are all on the exact same day( I noticed that on another site- Jan 4th!)! I mean they aren't very good at faking reviews here. I bet they will try to delete it so I will take a screenshot to prove it. My best friend had his mother in this place last year. I would avoid unless you hate your loved ones! Horribly understaffed,Meds get mixted up, not renovated at ALL( things are falling apart( broken, blinds, doors catches etc,)The place looks so cheap and old.The dining area has old cheap tables and chairs. They have outdated electric coil stoves( what, too cheap for gas?!) The residents all look pretty miserable. The offices are a big mess.Nobody cleans up.Rugs are covered with urine stains in the bedroom. Very unprofessional. You never see CNAs around at all( even in the middle of the day!). Unless you want your loved ones sitting in dirty diapers filled with urine and/or feces all day,I would avoid. Candace.
