They have lots of extra advice on other options for assistance besides what the welfare office can do. Which is to my knowledge strictly Medicaid, NVCHECKUP, food stamps, and TANF-cash assistance. But they'll point you in the right direction for energy assistance free clothing help with funding for higher education and more. After awful experiences in Vegas the girls at the Pahrump welfare office made my situation a joy to handle during a rough time in my life. If you need help don't let fear or pride get in your way go down there and fill out an application. They'll interview the same day!! Like I said NOTHING LIKE VEGAS! Thank goodness!
