Wonderful Memory Care Facility. Eric took so much time with my Mom & I, showing us the grounds & rooms. Even showed us a currently occupied, completely decorated, one with a small fireplace! Such a caring & compassionate staff. Prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

My experience with Skyline is one of thanks and appreciation. My dad Jim Love, the best dad ever moved into our home in February 2019. I got to be honest it was good and not so good. My dad loves people and with both my wife and I working it meant dad had a lot of alone time with the dogs.Because dad was almost 90 years of age, we didn't feel like the citizens of Carson City was safe with him driving so he was dependent on us to run him around. Because dad was a social kind of guy, we started looking for a place for him to live. There are a lot of choices out there, some not so good and others just so so.My daughter who is very talented at checking things out found us Skyline Estates. After 2 interviews with the staff at Skyline it was decided to put dad there. He objected at first, but after a week he had settled in and was having the time of his life. He was making new friends establishing caring relationships. The family visited dad almost everyday during his time there. We even began to make new friends there, in the residents and the staff. The facilities were great! Everything a person needed to live comfortably. The staff was beyound words. They were always there to assist in anyway they could without hesitation. You could tell that they cared for your loved one, as if they were caring for their own.One of the staff that were absolutely amazing was the wellness director Kenise, she has such a warm heart that she shared with the residents freely. Always available to answer questions that the family may have. Her assistant Tonya was just as wonderful. The Skyline director Dwight is another outstanding staff member. He really has a compassion for his job which is seen in his interaction with residents and their families. If you looking for a home for your loved onelook no more!

Here is how it works at skyline.since the new team from Oregon has taken over you will be lied to. Dont bother asking for raises..They are raising the rent to people that can barely afford it.and I know they are just trying to make it look better so they can sell itAnd they dont follow the law..point in case..one of the grave workers is a convicted child abuser. She is only there because they cant find some one to work over night. She is so bad that another worker had to get a restraining order against her.Another point the new dinng manager worked over 1 weeks without a TB test this put the residents at risk and again it's against the lawSo people dont belive the hype of this place or the liesI am in the process of filling a complaint with the state. I'm sure they will try to cleen it up but unfortunately I have the copies and recordings of them willfully breaking the law

There are new owners, a new administrator, and a new nurse to oversee the aides. Don't listen to complaints from prior to November 2018, as everything is changing with the new owner and administrator. My mother has been in here since Nov. 2018. There were many issues, and still are, but the new Administrator is working to fix these. He's hiring many new staff, some of whom never show or quit after the first day because the job is tough. People who work here have to find a reward in helping those in need, not to get rich, as that will never happen. There are some staff here that work harder than others and who really enjoy helping residents. For those staff, I'm truly grateful. My mother loves many of the staff here.
