We've found that Heritage is lovely home for our loved one. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are quick to call if they notice any issues and we work well as a team.

Was trying to get my wife in for rehab and transitioning to end of life. We were up front about her condition and led to believe that they would be able to take her. 2 days later they declined her. The reason they gave was that she had poor probability of being able to rehab to be able to go home. They advertise end of life care and rehab. Total lie.

Ive been at heritage for about a year now, and I would just have to say I love working here! The management and staff are all very nice and care for the residents greatly. I would recommend it to anyone whose looking for a great, fun place to work! :)

This Nursing Home was recommended highly to us when we moved my father-in-law in back in April of 2018, but since then it has gone so far downhill that we are looking for another facility. In the past few months we have noticed quite a decline. The building used to smell nice and clean at all times of day, and now it has that same stink of decay and bleach that seems to be in all the other nursing homes. The nurses who used to be so quick and happy to help now take a long time to get to his room, and when they do they all look exhausted. I asked one of them why this was and she told us that so many people have quit that they can barely keep up. In fact, at one point it took so long to get help that my wife called the office the next morning to complain, and when she called the administrator, he didn't say a single thing to her the entire time except that he was going to put her on hold. After 20 minutes of waiting she just hung up. We pay almost 10k per month for their services, and they can't:A. Hire/keep enough help to care for the people there.B. Be bothered to even address our concerns when we askMy wife is an RN, and in our visit this afternoon she found several safety violations. Hopefully her call to the state hotline will get some things fixed around there, but until then I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.In response to owner: I am speaking specifcally of your business, Heritage Estates in Gering Nebraska. I do not have it have it confused with another facility as you so claim.
