Corrupt and not in support of the Madison river all. In the pockets of wealthy landowners who want their own private stretch.

I have been a Lifetime Member of the MRF since its inception. I am shocked and dismayed at the direction the Foundation continues to pursue. As evidenced by the most recent Op-Eds by Foundation Board Members, it is apparent there is only one agenda and that is to benefit the few wealthy landowners up river, including themselves. In one article the President of the Board complains of the outfitters and associated groups as having 'a sense of entitlement over public wildlife' and in the next Op Ed states, Its time for all of us who love and cherish the Madison river to reclaim whats ours.' really? What is 'yours' exactly? Who is the entitled party here? It's no coincidence that 2 Board Presidents and a Board Member are neighbors in a gated, exclusive enclave on the Upper Madison. When one neighbor was drummed out because of her unpopular and dangerous views, she got another neighbor to pick up where she left off. They do not represent the public, the citizens or the people who live and breath the Madison Valley day in and day out. Their motives are selfish and misguided. In fact, their proposal allows for an INCREASE in commercial usage by 2000%.I have sounded the alarm numerous times expressing that the proposal the MRF supports does not do what they say they want to happen. The MRF Board does not care about more traffic on the river...if so they would not support the proposal put forth. What they care about is traffic on 'their' section of River. The rest be damned!

Bunch of jokesters. Hard to imagine who would support these folks besides summer home renters/owners near sun west and sun dance
