My 88-year-old Father In-law was widowed for 4 years and was no longer able to drive.Despite failing cognitive skills and physical health he insisted on staying in his own home.My wife and I were his only care givers and he was very defiant about receiving any outside help (he refused meals on wheels). A hospital case worker suggested we try Home Health Care to give us a temporary break.From the very first minute I contacted Synergy I was impressed. They immediately went with me to his home, introduced themselves, and literally sold him on the idea of letting them help him. The personal care giver quickly bonded with him and within a couple of visits he allowed her to take him for haircuts, lunch and some miscellaneous errands. The phone line is always staffed so that he could call anytime day or night to talk to someone about a problem or request.All the people in the office were very friendly, professional and great to work with. They answered all questions and made sure any special requests were fulfilled. If you are looking for Home Health Care for your loved one, either temporary or long term, Synergy is the place to come.
