As a former employee i can attest to the fact that the kitchen staff truly cares for the needs of the residents. Especially Shawn the head Chef. His biscuits are the bees knees, this is a community that I'm glad to have worked for, even if the pay wasn't up to par

I walked into the doors of this retirement community completely lost and worried, trying to find a safe comfortable place for my mom to live. So scared that she would have to live out her remaining years in a nursing home because of all of the horror stories I have heard. When I say this is a community, I mean it is a community! This is not just a place to store your elderly relatives... This is home! I have never in my life met so many nice people! I was there trying to find my mom a place and ended up making friends myself!!! I was approached by residents to introduce themselves and they even remembered my name two days later when I came in to finalize arrangements!! I have met 417 healthcare employees, a few of the people that work in the kitchen, servers, maintenance people, housekeeping and the office staff. Everyone, from the top to the bottom, 100% legit cares about the residents!! If I wouldnt have known any better, I wouldve thought they were all extended, blood relatives! They are not just in a business of taking money, they seriously care for their people. All of the common areas are well appointed and have a homey feel, The dining room looks like a nice restaurant, there is a nice laundry room, a library, a billiard room set up, they have Worship, lots of activities to promote well-being and friendships! Walking down the halls, you feel like youre in a high end hotel in a big city! Everything is clean and comfortable! My moms one bedroom apartment has a balcony and a full kitchen! And the front office staff!!!! How can I ever begin to explain how great they are?! Sarah and the rest of the people there are beyond amazing! I walked in completely lost with no idea what I was doing and they walked me through every step of the way! With my moms Social Security check being a little tight, even helped me get in touch with someone to help with financing options!! I highly recommend The Cambridge to anyone looking to move there or looking for a safe comfortable place for family! I cannot praise them enough!
