Oak Pointe of Monett

I love doing ministry at oak point. The staff is very supportive and helpful. It is a great positive atmosphere. Everything is always neat and clean and the decorations are awesome. Thank you for allowing our church to be part of your family. We have been truly blessed

My mom has been at Oak Point for over 2 years, and I am very pleased. First, the kindness and consideration of the staff at all levels is admirable. Second, the activities, outings and music offered (as well as nursing support) by Oak Pointe is very good. Meals are of higher quality here than other facilities. Last, the pricing of this facility (both Assisted Living and Memory Care) is very competitive compared to facilities in surrounding areas such as Springfield. Most of all, I appreciate the genuine concern and caring Oak Pointe management and staff show towards my mom. People go out of their way to help. I've observed this over and over again, and it really gives me peace of mind.

Our parents moved to Oak Pointe of Monett about 2.5 years ago. At first we had some concern about how Mom and Dad would adjust to moving from their 4-bedroom/4-bathroom house to a 2-bedroom apartment. But, the adjustment was smooth. I think Mom has especially thrived at Oak Pointe. Oak Pointe has many common areas and we view all of Oak Pointe as their home, not just the apartment. The staff does an excellent job of caring-for/watching-after our parents. The staff is kind, attentive and helpful. The facility is well-maintained and gives you the feel of clean, well-cared-for environment. The meals are varied, well-prepared and presented in an appetizing manner. And, if Mom wants pancakes for dinner, she can have 'em--you don't have to take the featured entree at any meal. There are always activities for Mom and Dad to be involved with. I feel that Oak Pointe is a well-run organization--that begins at the top with the Executive Director and filters through the department heads and staff. Without fail, the Executive Director has always had a working knowledge of any issues facing our parents. I find the Oak Pointe staff is always willing to listen, they focus on solving problems, and are action-oriented. It has been a real blessing to all of us to have Mom and Dad at such a fine establishment--it gives us all Peace of Mind. In case you can't tell, I like Oak Pointe and it's staff..... a lot!

My parents have been at Oak Pointe for over two years and Ive visited with them several times there. The staff are concerned and caring for their well being consistently. Always having fun activities to keep them involved. The facility very well maintained. So thankful for Oak Pointe and all the staff!

Oak Pointe may be an attractive facility, but thats all it has going for it, at least as far as the Memory Care Unit. My dad was allowed to wear the same clothes without bathing for days. My dad was transported to another facility without the familys permission, resulting in restraint injuries that necessitated a police report. Definitely do not recommend.
