Wilshire Hills

My mother has resided here for 10 years & loves it. The staff is very responsive to her needs. She reports to me that the residents have formed a very friendly community & are supportive of each other. When I visit her I observe the physical facility to be well kept. My mother interacts with many friends there. She engages in bingo, bunko, & multiple social gatherings in the community room. I am so pleased that my mom is enjoying her life at Wilshire Hills.

I want to definitely describe the awful experience we had here. Our mother lived there 10 year's. Never once in the 10 year's did they paint, replace carpet, fix her broken disposal or do any upgrades. Our mom fell and went to a care facility. We gave our 30 notice to vacate properly and in writing. Today we went to do a final walk thru with the property manager PAT. Note our mother's lease is not up until the 31st of May. We called at 10:30am today to meet at 4:30pm today. Guess what? We got there and appliances were removed, carpet torn out, and blinds gone. We were shocked. Plus Air conditioning blasting with all utilities in our mother's name. We were in total shock and was upset. The manager Pat did not care. I can tell you this is NOT professional and very upsetting. Our mother's flowers were even stolen off her door. I would definitely NEVER put another parent here. Very dissatisfied with employees and Pat.
