My mom loves this place. The people and residents are nice. The grounds are nice and well maintained. She feels safe. The apartments are small but that is all she needs. They are very affordable for her budget.

This is a great place to live! The community and grounds are beautiful and the owner and property manager truly care about their residents. They are like family.

I don't think this mechanic knew what he was doing at all. Worst shop in Lee's Summit.

This place used to be pretty nice but since the person who used to work in the office left the owner's daughter is running things and trying to get every bit of money she can get out of elderly people. The rent has increased drastically although all they have really done to fix up the place recently is put in granite counter tops in the really small kitchens. HVAC units and hot water heaters are and have been replaced but that is something that has to be done now and then when they have issues. If you look close at the repair work that has been done to the apartments you will see poor drywall repairs, seams cracking with the tape popped loose. They try to do as little as possible to get as much as possible out of people. Instead of fixing a furnace they will tell you to use the emergency heat setting to get heat which costs the renter a lot more on their electric bill. Check your windows to make sure they all work. Several of them do no open like they are supposed to or they slam shut on their own. The storm windows on the screen doors are very hard for older people to operate due to the age of the doors. Several people who have moved out since the new manager daughter took over said they never got any deposit back when they left their place in good shape. They never even received as much as a call about their deposit. Just a couple of years ago there was a waiting list but now there are several units available most of the time. These apartments are not luxury apartments by any means but they are now charging like they are. They have small refrigerators and small small stoves in them. If your apartment buildings were built in the 80's or 90's they do not warrant pricing as if they are less than 10 years old. Just because you have apartments for senior citizens does not mean you need to try to take all of their retirement funds from them. The daughter is making some bad decisions that will ultimately cause them to have a lower occupancy. It is a nice community but they are trying to charge you for having nice neighbors who are also being charged to live there.
