Absolutely APPALLING nursing home. The nurses don't work with patients until the families try to get the poor souls out of there, residents have been known to sit or lay in their own waste for 20-30 minutes at a time, the administration LIES about other nursing homes you try to move your loved one to in order to prevent the resident from leaving, the nurses are EXTREMELY unprofessional and try to sway other nursing homes from transfers, call lights go unanswered (the nurses even go turn them off and leave the room again without checking on patients), ALL of the staff assumes visitors have never been there because we have not introduced ourselves to any and everyone in scrubs, medical re-evaluations are postponed to 'wait out' a nursing home transfer OUT of there, residents talk of suicide and NONE of the staff pays ANY attention to it unless a visitor throws a big enough stink about it, and it took MONTHS for one of the residents to get something as simple as a SHOWER!!! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT send your loved ones here!

Keeping an elderly resident hostage. Stole her cell phone and won't let her have her snacks out of spite. Very unprofessional and retaliatory staff. Please send your loved ones anywhere but here. Why hasn't the state does something! Please help these at risk residents!

My step dad is there now, we came in and found him hanging off the bed and exposed indecently! They left his medical bed in another room soon transfering him to the North Ward. Its pulling teeth trying to get certain staff to do their job properly and accordingly ! Upon arrival he was supposed to have three feedings that dad , in which they only gave him one feeding. My family spoke up ! Because starving people is not ok. My mom was in the bed next to her husband in critical condition . When she was in need it took 20 to 40 minutes and even then we had to chase nursing staff down to get her the help she needed . Monica and Brandon are amazing they are two of the most caring people that work in this facility ! If it wasnt for them I wouldnt know what would happen to my father-in-law .

It's a good place to work, to place a family member and to stay as a resident. The staff actually care about the residents and that's rare to find in some long term care facilities. The PT/OT and ST staff are great as well. Communication is key to every place a person is a resident or staff member. There are some upcoming updates to the facility that will be great. They continue to update the facility rooms and as I said, the staff try to be helpful, they care about the residents as if they are family...and yes, snacks are given in between meals. Seen it with my own two eyes. The staff are professional. The facility does their best to accommodate residents and family alike. The smiles are the best. All in all, I'd stay at the facility myself if I were needing therapy and help....and I am a nurse.

My parents friend and neighbor is a prisoner in this facility. They took away her snacks which is about the only thing she will eat and they took her phone away for days leaving no way for her to contact her friends. My parents came twice a day EVERYDAY to see their friend and now they are banned.... WHY????? This nursing home is covering up abuse and neglect of patients by outrageously and falsely accusing loved ones who ask too many questions and isolating residents from the people who truly care for their well being. Do not send family and friends here. Please help those patients and residents that are in this facility get the care they deserve.
