Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley

The staff has been very helpful and caring. They seem to genuinely care about my mother's well being and any of my concerns or questions. Beautiful campus. My mother is transitioning better than I hoped for.

I have to admit I thought this place was one of the best but now I see they do not care at all about their residents. I was there and an employee made a comment they do not care about your parent and they do not clean them here. I have walked into the room several times and my parent was not clean and looked very sick. This is not a good place to put your family member because all they want is their money. The residents were all getting a virus and nothing was being done about it! The staff do not care!

They are all fantastic. The placement was extraordinary. The atmosphere is very nice. Mom loved the food. They kept her room clean. Did her laundry. Provided books for her to read. Entertainment, exercise, therapy, counseling, dental, podiatrist, salon, outings. I could visit anytime day or night. I cannot say enough about what this has meant to me, to know she was this well taken care of.

My Father just completed a recent 3 week stay at this facility. And I couldn't be more pleased with the attention and care that was provided for my Dad. The staff, nursing and therapists' were very friendly and professional. The only heads up is, whether you are partaking in the daily laundry or not, please put your loved one's name in their clothing. Even if you have a posting in their room that you'll be doing the laundry, they are bathed in a shower room and their clothing is picked up there. 4 articles of my fathers clothing came up missing, but , my sister and I were graciously given access to the laundry room and were able to recover all but 1 article of clothing. So, no big deal, but this is something that the staff might want to reference upon check in. Just a thought. It's a very clean and spacious facility. Dad received some great therapy and care. He even bragged about the food. Lol! And I have to admit, they were fed real well. And Kaitlin, in administration. I can not say enough about this young lady! She went above and beyond in working with me over a particular issue. She is truly sincere and empathetic and I will forever be grateful of her. If my Father needs any future therapeutic needs, Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley will be my first choice.

Staff is warm and happy.
