Southbrook - Skilled Nursing by Americare

Three years ago, my mother was taken in by Southbrook. We were told she would never be able to walk again due to her broken femur and Alzheimer's disease. The Rehab staff worked so well with her that not only did she beat all odds and walk again, she was able to walk independently. To help her feel useful, she was allowed to wash tables after meals and help set up for games. When I was unable to be there to feed her meals, they were patient enough to take the time to make sure she got the nutrition she needed. They kept her clean, made sure her hair and nails were pretty even though she wasn't always aware what was going on. Southbrook staff genuinely cared about her and took excellent care of her throughout the rest of her life. When she passed, there were many hugs and tears shared among my family and the staff at Southbrook. Since then, my father has convalescence there following cardiac bypass surgery last summer.

So far so good! Mom is there for her second time after an injury. But she's in a different area now. I'm happy to say my mother has done well here. She was brought to Southbrook from the hospital. After she suffered yet another fall. Will be rating again before to long.

I just want to give a shout out to SouthBrook Nursing home in Farmington. As I entered their facility today to deliver papers, I handed a paper to an elderly lady in a wheelchair. As I was approaching the office with the rest of the papers, they was having a meeting. There was probably 20 employees plus the facility manager. So as I was walking towards them, someone shouts out 'here comes our favorite paper boy' lol Just after that was said, the entire group of employees started to applaud. Made me feel great!! I walked out with tears of joy! Thank you for making me feel loved and appreciated. SouthBrook most definitely has the best staff out of all the businesses I deliver! Keep up the good work!!
