St. Andrew's at Francis Place

We looked at a lot of places. St. Andrews at Francis Place felt right for Mike. Everyone was friendly and we recognized how homelike it was. Theres a community of staff, nurses and aides, as well as kitchen staff and servers and cleaning staff that nurtures each resident. PT and OT were great! The rehabilitation area of the home is excellent. There are activities each day to keep residents occupied that develop the spiritual, physical and mental parts of the body. If I could give this place 5 stars plus I would. It has the most amazing views, which I think adds to the healing and spiritual needs that enhance care, but most importantly, St. Andrew's has become like family for my family. Over the past couple of years, we've had multiple, short term medical issues that have required short-term care. The 1st time, we had family stay, I cried with happiness that I had found such a wonderfully friendly, welcoming, clean, competent, and caring environment. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time we had family stay, I smiled with happiness because I knew my family was in the best hands. I knew without doubt that they would not only get great patient care, but that they would feel at home, well cared for, and treated with respect and like family while there. We love St. Andrew's, where they pay attention to physical, mental, spiritual, and community needs that a person has. Now we don't have family there, but we go back and visit to say hello to our friends, get hugs, and stay connected to our wonderful caregiver and staff 'family'. You will smile and feel love from the moment you check in, to sharing delicious meals made by the great kitchen staff, to the caring and extremely good rehab staff, to front office staff who handle everything with grace, to the wonderfully caring and attentive care staff, to the awesome medical team, to the kind volunteers visit -- I highly recommend this place to anyone.

My mother is a new resident at Francis Place. My sister and I knew from the moment we walked in the door for our tour that this was a special community. My mother has had experience with several rehab facilities, from the classic nightmare nursing home to something much more 'higher end.' This is, by far, the best encounter we have had. The transition was very smooth because Vikki, the Director of Admissions, was there to answer any question and step in where needed. The staff is extremely helpful and caring. More importantly, there are sufficient numbers of them to make sure that each resident gets the care and attention that they need. My mother loves the activities, especially Bingo, and she is able to participate because the staff makes sure she gets there. She is much more socially engaged now than at her previous independent residence because, as her health declined, she could not get herself out. She is very happy at FP and loves her new home. We, as a family, are thrilled with her situation because, after the last few years of constant stress and worry, we know that she is safe and well-cared for. We would highly recommend Francis Place to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility for a loved one.

I cant say enough about this place. My mom lived there for over 3 years and staff was absolutely wonderful. Everything from the food to the activities to the nursing seemed to be tailored to my moms liking. I have talked to other families and they have said the same things. They have definitely nailed it. They also have completely renovated the entire building and it looks great. Thank you all for taking such great care of my mom.

Great place, good attentive employees, and I can't wait to see it after the remodel. Views are spectacular, especially in the Fall.
