I liked most of the house parents we had. But when i was in murphy, which is where most kids start out, we were behind locked doors most of the day and if we got shut down, which means you are locked down in your room for a certain amount of time depending on what u did that made u be in there, they took our mattresses and all we were left with in there was a book and a blanket. But most of the staff cared about us and wanted us to get our act straight. I made it down to the honor house though and I cried myself to sleep every night because those girls thought they were better and i was begging to go back to murphy and they wouldn't let me even though it was effecting me and how I acted.

Great people. Not a place to send your kids for help if all they are used to doing is sitting on there ***. Its hard work. Still a great place. Someday I'll try to stop by and see the owners. It's been 14 years.

Valley springs youth ranch has a great program intended to help youth in need. It's a program that works if you work it.

Wrote a prior review of this place and apparently it got taken down , Be nice to see the Beckers get exposed for the frauds they are and this facility shut down !
