My mother lived at Bethesda for five years and called it home. The staff in all departments treated her with kindness, love and respect. Bethesda is always working on ways to provide the highest quality of care physically, emotionally, and spiritually for their residents.

There was only one bed in Willmar for my dad Nov.2019 at Bethesda. This I felt was God opening the door. As my dad was at the facility he was very well taken care of , lovingly , kindly, and skillfully. The staff was friendly to our family at all times and prompt to attend to my dads needs. As he progressed toward his end of life they were on top of each situation . There was always an open door policy especially when I had questions , deep concerns and tears. Every care giver felt like an angel to me. In fact I call them all angles. The Last day of his life we were called early. He is changing they said. When I arrived he was in his bed. Neatly dressed, shaved an comfortably sleeping. The staff brought a cart full of food items and kept it right outside his door. They knew we would not be leaving his side. The angles looked in on him as needed and then would give me a kind look. Keep talking to him they would say. After his passing I found a crisp white sheet with a rose lying on top of an open Bible on his bed. Another reminder that he had gone into his heavenly home. These little kindnesses meant a lot to me and Im sure do to others . Thank you Bethesda, I never knew what was going on inside your walls until I walked the halls every day. I would highly recommend Bethesda of Willmar to anyone who is in need.

I have been involved with the Board of Directors for 6+ years. The facility has changed, physically and emotionally all for the better - especially for the clients who live there, clients served at their homes, clients who use the services for short periods of times. The employees also have grown and changed for the positive. The team leaders and executive staff work very closely together, involving all staff as it is feasible. They are a close knit group focusing on serving clients and the community. The excellent example of this is how they worked together during the COVID 19 epdemic, keeping everyone safe for internal clients and external clients and all the staff. Congratulations and keep up the great comprehensive work! Carla Lagerstedt, Board Member

Someone very close to me works here and loves the people that live here but the unprofessionalism of some of the staff honestly scares me. Of course not every nurse or employee is gonna care about the residents like they should but the unprofessional people here make it very hard for even the good people to stick around for these folks. I pray they get serious or lose funding. God bless everyone who lives here.
