I have lived here for eight years now and I love this place! I gather with my friends in the Community Room for coffee and small talk almost every morning. The location is great, we're right next to the bus station and very close to downtown Saint Paul. The manager is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need.

I do not live in the Phalen Senior Apartments, but a client of mine does, and his dishwasher has been broken for 7 months with no replacement and poor communication from management. I have tried calling two different numbers (only one is listed on google), left a few voicemails and sent an email on his behalf and have had no response from management. I spoke with one person whos name slips my mind who told me maintenance would contact the resident 'as soon as possible', and the resident has not been contacted after five days have passed.

This place is very nice. Kept up really well and always clean. Maintenance is always on top of things when I call, they have a new guy Ed who is great. I have lived here for five years now been through many managers and Terry is by far the best one we've had since I've been here. I appreciate all that he does for us here and how he takes an interest in our lives. I realize that he does things that are not a part of his job but he helps us anyway like ordering things online he is very helpful. I hope both stay around for a long time.

After being here 7years I have seen managers come and go; However,When it comes Terry Roehrig I can't speak for all residents, But he's one of the best we've had. There are things I have wanted at Phalen he has made it happen with ease. He's friendly, courteous, respectful and considerate.Thank you Sherman Associate for sending him to usYolunda Johnson #409Our Maintenance guy Ed Pederson, is nice and great at his job; I had a heat vent that had been neglected Ed being new came right in ordered the part and as promised fixed it right away. I just want to say Thank you Ed....I really appreciate you!
