Independence Village White Lake

IV of White Lake is a wonderful community to visit, work, and live at! We're always having a fun time and making connections with friends.

Independence Village of White Lake is the only senior living community in White Lake and offers both independent living and enhanced living. The staff is amazing and provides excellent care. We have been in White Lake since 2000 and have lots of experience caring for seniors and enhancing their lives--from the food to the activities to the staff -this is a first class community with a caring staff!!!!

You feel welcome right away. Staff is friendly, food is delicious, always something to do. Lots of fun events. They go out of their way to make you happy, but it's not fake. You can tell everyone really enjoys being there.

This place is TERRIBLE. Ellen will tell you how wonderful things will be when you move your parents in or yourself. Bugs everywhere. She will offer free assistance for a week or two that is never followed. Donna is probably the most terrible human I have ever met in my life. She does not care about the health of the residents. Donna should have been fired years ago. She will have family meetings and during those she will talk bad about her staff and do anything to get money from your family. The caregivers have the biggest Hearts and suffer the most at this job. They are swamped with work and never have adequate staff to care for the people. They have new workers every week. The staff is not paid well for the demand. I have heard Donna speak to her caregivers in very disturbing ways. I am sure to tell everyone online to stay away from this place as long as Donna has her position. (That she is unqualified for)

everyone here enjoys the music and their put-put gulf it is a joy to see them haven a good time.
