Im a college student who worked at Waterford oaks this summer. This was a great experience! Creating bonds with the residents and staff is something I will never forget! Im looking forward to getting back next summer!

This place is garbage. From management to the workers. I use to work here, one we are underpaid. I have way to much experience and training to be paid what I was paid. Two, the other workers, especially the afternoon lead is horrible. She talks about everyone's business. Third, they don't take care of the residents as they should. Residents should be changed every 2 hours, the workers there will wait until the end of thier shift to do brief changes and checks. Management is disrespectful and very rude. The care manager was cool, she was sick of management herself. The other manager Mindi is basically just there to show her face. She doesn't do any work. Residents aren't turned every two hours, showers aren't given, meds are always messed up, pretty sure the staff were taking them. Please, pick another place for your loved one. This is just some of the crop. There's way more!

Waterford Oaks Senior Care has been, in my experience, a well-managed and well-maintained facility. Being a caregiver is a challenging position that is not suited for everyone; however this facility has done a great job of attracting employees who truly care about the residents, and provide the best care possible. The managers are detail-oriented, so you always know exactly what is expected of you; they are also flexible with scheduling needs, making this an ideal place to work. For anyone looking to be a caregiver, I would recommend Waterford Oaks, and for anyone looking for a facility for themselves or a loved one, Waterford Oaks would be my top choice as well.
