I've worked as a recreational therapist for 10 years with the elderly and I can't recommend this place enough for 'Quality of Life'. They want people to enjoy life in a safe, clean, and fun environment. The staff is amazing and they all are those rare people who really care about the people they work with. I placed my mother in this care home 8 months ago and am so happy I did! The home itself is beautiful. The inside has been newly renovated, new kitchen cabinets and back splash, countertops, and has an overall cozy cottage feel. The rooms are spacious, and they offer private rooms as well. My mother enjoys the living area so she can socialize and interact with other residents and visitors. Once a week each week, the home celebrates one of the residents by cooking them their favorite meal, or meal of choice. Its absolutely adorable to see their faces light up when they're told today is their day! I have had to place my grandmother in a care home years ago, and she was never treated with the love, respect and dignity as my mother has been treated with here. You can really feel the love when your within the home, and the staff are always upbeat and happy to assist. As my mother has a harder time these days getting out and about, I'm thrilled that Home Sweet Home has visiting physicians for just about everything. I love knowing that the home is located on a quiet road, it gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend this care home to anyone that wants a personalized home for their loved one, this is definitely the place to go!
