DO NOT EVER send a family member to this place. The people that run and help families coordinate things are the Worst on the planet. No joke. When you have someone who is transitioning from their facility to Hospice at home they have NO clue what they are doing. They do not know how to communicate with family members, the run around between trying to get the Dr. to see the patient, and finding out who is treating them is horrific. The organizing and them communicating between them and hospice is so bad that they made us do all of it 'you need to call this place..oh i am sorry i did not know we were suppose to take care of that..Oh please call this place, oh they said we were suppose to do that too.' Who ever Laura is.. I really hope no one ever has to deal with her. Calling 4-5 times a day making the already stressed and emotional family do all of this work that is suppose to be done by the facility is outrageous. And then to top off all of that when they are making you transport a patient by ambulance which is their responsibility to ordinate call you at 7:30 in the morning to make you call and once again be told 'the Villa needs to make the arrangements, NOT THE FAMILY. Calling the Villa for over a hour and NO Answer and then 1 1/2 hours later oh yay they answer, and a snippy OK, and then they call call and tell you its $700 dollars and you need to get there and pay for it with in the hour. Lets just put a little more stress on the family. By the way (if it is medically necessary, it is paid for by insurance) all the Dr. has to do is put a signature on a piece of paper. But he will not be in for a few days so Sorry. NEVER EVER Ever bring or send someone you love there. If fact I would not wish this Nightmare of a Place on my worst enemy or their family.

I went to the Villa at the Bay for therapy and wound care had a great experience. The whole team there was very helpful in improving my strength, and building my moral! The food was good. The people were happy and helpful and considerate. The therapy team made me stronger than when I came in improved my balance and I am more independent now and able to go home!

Not impressed so far! My mother is a rehab patient and she is in with nursing home patients. She should be with patients that can communicate.Day 2 Definitely not impressed!Mom arrived yesterday and there was no water or side table. Even after an hour after she was there I had to ask for water. She had a crank up bed, so no way for her to adjust it by herself. She has not been out of bed for pt which is why she is at the Villa in the first place! Praying for a better place for her to get the care she needs.Day 3This was a little better day. The OT and PT sessions were great! They are trying. I still wouldnt give them more than one star. I hope a year from now I can read some fantastic reviews for Villa at the Bay!

I enjoyed therapy the most of my stay at the Villa at the Bay. I couldn't move my leg when I got here and now I can move it, and can walk far distances. Go up and down stairs and I am excited to go home tomorrow more independent than before. The therapy staff is the best I have every experienced and I have had a lot of therapy. I want to thank the therapy team, Dave he is wonderful! Brenda is the Best!
