Our Place Senior Assisted Living

All that shines, is not gold. Although the homes are beautifully decorated, this company is not what it seems to be. I was an employee here for almost a year and know first hand just how ' desensitized' and out of touch the owners are. I, (much like most of the employees that have worked here) was harrassed and unfairly penalized for speaking out or just being tired after working 70+ hours a week. The residents are cared for but not on a compassionate and individual basis. One of the worst employers to work for!. So whether you are interviewing for a job or to place a loved one... please think twice.

This place takes very good care of my Mother. Shes 90 years old and is doing well. They have compassion for their residents and is very good with the family. If something isnt right with your family member they call you right away. They do arts and crafts with them and their heavy meal is lunch for them that way their heavy meal isnt at dinner before they go to bed. Lighter meal for dinner and snacks too. Not once have my family come over there and my mom be dirty or messed and not ready for the day! Great job and the staff is so hard working. Thank you for taking great care of my mom!

Im from California, my mother stays at one of their facilities. Let me start with the wonder care givers (staff) they are so caring for my mother. The meals that they receive are outstanding, I had Thanksgiving with my mom and the owners offered me food. The best is the cleanliness of the houses are impeccable, both she was in two. If your looking for a home for your parents or wife/husband I highly recommend them.

We have been searching for a senior home for our father where he can be safe and well cared for. He has severe dementia. Our sister knows Kathleen M., a hospice nurse, and she suggested Our Place. We spoke with Paula, the owner, and visited some of her homes. We were very pleased with what we saw and felt. The house we chose is very clean, bright, and cheerful. The caregivers greeted us with warmth and kindness. We moved Dad in and he seemed to fit. Sadly, at times, the elderly with dementia experience aggressive behavior. We encountered this with Dad. Paula was quite understanding and began working with us immediately to remedy Dad's disposition. Through doctors' help we are stabilizing his behavior. Paula and her wonderful caregivers have been there guiding us and Dad to where he is now comfortable and secure. We are extremely satisfied with Our Place and know Dad's transition will be treated with the utmost dignity we all deserve.
