I am so happy with this organization. They truly care for the individuals they serve. We looked for a long time for an organization that shared our values, and this was the perfect fit.

Tina Schrump is immoral and illegally fired me. Title 7 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is a landmark civil rights and U.S. labor law in the United States that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It prohibits unequal application of voter registration requirements, racial segregation in schools, employment, and public accommodations.I was fired after the manager of the Dewitt house had another employee find my GoFundMe for top surgery. Tina and her assistant of the Dewitt house had me meet them downstairs and asked me if I was in the process of transitioning. They told me that I would no longer be working there because I couldn't work as a male but I would be still filling in shifts for the next few weeks while they found a new person to take my place. This is insanely illegal. This happened a few years ago and I did not sue as I was only making 10/hr here and had to focus on saving and going to nursing school. She would also make derogatory comments about some of the girls' weight. She was constantly involving coworkers in drama between other coworkers. I found out another coworker was making 50 cents less than me even though we were both hired with minimal experience. This job is a joke and needs new managament. I miss working at both Dewitt houses that I am no longer able to work at because I am transgender.
